About the MMPA

The Masuk Music Parents’ Association (MMPA) is a group of parents working to enrich the musical experience of Masuk students by broadening experiences and promoting a culture of excellence. Working with Masuk’s Music Directors, and by volunteering time and coordinating fundraisers and other events, the MMPA enables students to raise money for music trips and provides additional funding and assistance to benefit the music program

What are the primary fundraising activities?
Bottle & Can drive, Candy Sales, Gift Wrap Sale, Pie Sale, Music & Meatballs dinner, Spirit Cards, Patron Letter, E-fundraising

Are you an advocacy group?
No, we support the Music Directors in the implementation of policies, programs, stated curriculum, and activities. We can gather input from members and act as liaison with the Directors and school administration. But we do not set policy or, as a group, seek to represent all members, parents, or students.

Are there other activities you support?
Yes, all concerts (strings, band, chorus) require volunteer workers, and all extracurricular groups such as the Color Guard, Winter Percussion, Jazz ensembles require parent support.
